IMMEDIATE RELEASE – Signatures in Lieu Period for the March 5, 2024 Presidential Primary Election
NEWS MEDIA - Tulare County Registrar of Voters, Michelle Baldwin, announces that September 14, 2023 will be the first day all candidates may begin gathering signatures in lieu of the filing fee for the March 5, 2024 Presidential Primary Election.
Petition forms may be picked up from the Tulare County Registrar of Voters office, 5300 W. Tulare Avenue, Suite 105. The Registrar of Voters office is open 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Friday.
JUDICIAL, FEDERAL AND LOCAL OFFICES
Deadline for signatures in lieu is November 8, 2023. JUDGES ONLY: The non-refundable filing fee and/or signatures in lieu must be presented at the time the candidate files a Declaration of Intent.
Declaration of Intent filing period opens October 30, 2023 and closes November 8, 2023.
The Nomination Period opens Monday, November 13, 2023 and closes Friday, December 8, 2023. NOTE: The Registrar of Voters office will remain open until 5:00 p.m. on Friday, December 8, 2023.
The non-refundable filing fee and/or signatures in lieu must be presented at the time the candidate picks up the Nomination documents during the Nomination Period.
